SPEECH THERAPY

 
 
  • Frustration when trying to communicate

  • Poor ability to articulate certain sounds and words correctly

  • Able to understand directions and what the other person is saying but is unable to verbally respond

  • Negative behaviors during attempts to tell you what they want


NEONATAL TOUCH & MASSAGE

  • Use of neonatal massage techniques to help optimize sleep, comfort, and neurodevelopment results

  • Increase bonding opportunities for infants and caregivers while optimizing infant development.

  • Incorporation of Neuroprotective Care practices including Skin-to-Skin contact (also called kangaroo care), swaddled bathing, 2-person caregiving, and therapeutic positioning & handling.

The purpose of providing massage therapy for infants is to assist in overall improvement in long-term development and create increased bonding between caregivers and their child.
